FlareSend is a WhatsApp API platform for businesses and developers. It lets you send and receive WhatsApp messages programmatically using simple HTTP requests. You can use it to build chatbots, send notifications, manage groups, post to channels, and automate WhatsApp workflows, all without needing Meta's official approval.
Sign up for a free 4-day trial, create a WhatsApp instance in your dashboard, scan the QR code with your WhatsApp phone, and copy your API key. You can send your first message in under 5 minutes.
Full access to all core features, sending and receiving messages, webhook support, analytics, and one connected WhatsApp instance. No credit card required.
Pricing
FlareSend charges a flat subscription fee, no per-message fees. You pay one price regardless of how many messages you send. This is very different from the official WhatsApp Business API which charges per conversation.
The official API charges $0.005–$0.08 per conversation depending on your country, which adds up quickly at scale. FlareSend is a flat rate, making it significantly more cost-effective for businesses sending hundreds of messages per day.
Technical
No. You can connect any existing WhatsApp number, personal or business. Just scan the QR code with that phone and it's linked. Many customers use a SIM card dedicated to their business, but it's not a technical requirement.
Yes, but with care. FlareSend includes anti-ban protections such as randomized delays, batch pacing, and rate-limit awareness to help keep your number healthy. For very high-volume bulk campaigns (thousands of messages per day to cold lists), the official WhatsApp Business API is usually the better fit.
Yes. Set a webhook URL in your dashboard and FlareSend will POST every incoming message to your server. Process the message with your own logic, keyword matching, menu flows, or AI (ChatGPT, Dialogflow, etc.), then reply using the /send-message endpoint. Full two-way messaging supported.
Yes. FlareSend supports full group management (create, add/remove members, send messages) and WhatsApp Channels/Newsletters (create, post updates, manage subscribers), features that the official WhatsApp Business API does not currently offer.
Safety
If used responsibly, the risk is low. FlareSend includes anti-ban protections: random message delays (3–8 seconds), batch breaks, hourly and daily sending limits. The main risk factors are: sending unsolicited messages to people who haven't opted in, sending identical messages to many people rapidly, and sending from a brand new number without warming it up gradually. Follow best practices and you'll be fine.
Yes. All API communication uses HTTPS encryption. FlareSend does not store the content of your messages, only usage metrics (message counts, delivery status, timestamps) for reporting. Your WhatsApp session credentials are stored encrypted on our servers.
If your WhatsApp session disconnects (e.g. internet issue or WhatsApp server restart), FlareSend automatically tries to reconnect using your saved credentials, no QR re-scan needed for normal disconnections. Only if you're fully logged out on your phone will a new QR scan be required.
Comparison
The official API requires Meta business verification (weeks of approval), charges per conversation, requires pre-approved message templates for outbound messages, and needs a dedicated business number. FlareSend requires none of that, scan QR and start in minutes at a flat rate. The tradeoff is that the official API can handle much higher volumes (10,000+ per day) without any ban risk.
